Tour Plan
- Day 01: Arrival Chandigarh– Shimla On arrival at Chandigarh proceed to Shimla the former summer capital of British India, set amidst the snow-capped Shivalik Mountains which offers some of the most stunning views of the mighty Himalayas. Arrive & check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla.
- Day 02: Shimla-Kufri sightseeing-Shimla Post breakfast proceed for an excursion to Kufri, a must-visit place. Placed at an altitude of 2290 m above the sea level, Kufri is blessed with tranquility, scenery and is dotted with tourist attractions. Kufri is known to be an authentic hill station with many Fun activities, such as sikking ,Hiking , Horse Riding, and much more. Then we will take you to Green Valley, where you can enjoy the aesthetic region where most of the film shootings have been done. - After exploring the above places, we will take you to the Himalayan National Park, Mahasu Peak, Chini Bungalow and Fun World. - Then we will head towards Kali Bari Temple , where the reincarnation form of Goddess Kali gets worshipped. - In the evening, you can wander within the local regions, such as Mall Road of Shimla, where you can do some shopping. Then you can also visit the Ridge, the Christ Church of Shimla. Overnight stay in the hotel.
- Day 03: Shimla – Manali will be another fun-filled ride as you leave for Manali. This hill station is perfect for adventure activities. On arrival, check in at the hotel and take some to relax. Afterward, you can head out and be a part of the locals and tourists on Mall Road. You can try the different delicacies and buy souvenirs. Dinner and night stay in Manali.
- Day 4 – Manali Local sightseeing On day 4 of your Shimla Manali family trip, it is time to begin your excursion to the famous Hadimba Devi Temple once you are done with your breakfast. This temple worships Hidimba Devi, wife of Bhima from the Hindu epic Mahabharata. After spending some time here, head to the Vashisht Kund, Tibetan Monastery, and handicraft center. You can also take a walk around the Vashisht village. Dinner and overnight stay planned in Manali.
- Day 05: Manali (Solang Valley) ATAL TUNEL (only atal Gate) - After breakfast proceed for a full day excursion to the Mighty Solang Valley.. Solang Valley is well known for adventure activities like – paragliding, zorbing, snow scooter and Activa rides. You can take a cab car ride in Solang Nalaha. - In the afternoon We will proceed to Atul Tunnel Gate - We will travel back to Manali in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.
- Day 06: Manali – Dharamshala Today after breakfast I traveled by surface from Manali to Dharamshala. On arrival check in at hotel overnight stay at hotel Dharamshala.
- Day 07: Dharamshala - Local Mcleodganj –Dalhousie Morning after breakfast proceed to full day sightseeing of Macleadganj like Dalai Lama Temple, Bhagsunag Temple, Dal Lake, Naddi, Water Fall, Kangra art museum, War Memorial, Sun Set Point, Church, and proceed to Dalhousie Dinner and Overnight stay at hotel.
- Day 08: Dalhousie – Khajjiar – Dalhousie (25 KMS) Today morning drive to sightseeing of Khajjiar, 23 kms from Dalhousie by road and 13 kms from Kalatop is the mini Switzerland of India i.e. Khajjiar, at a height of 6400 ft. Hutchison writes, "Khajjiar is a forest glade of great beauty, 6400 feet above sea level" known as the mini Switzerland of India and is surrounded by dense pine and deodar forests. There is a small lake in the center with a floating island and 9-hole golf course here. Enjoy zorbing & paragliding. After that, I returned back to the hotel. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel
- Day 09: Dalhousie – Amritsar After breakfast at the hotel check out and drive to Amritsar. After fresh up visit Jaliyawala Bagh, Wagha Border (Indo Pak Border), Golden Temple. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.
- Day 10: Amritsar –Chandigarh/Amritsar Departure After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Chandigarh Railway Station by Cab and board train back to home with sweet memorable moments of your JOURNEY.
